What has God done for You in 2015

12.31.15 Well today is the last day of 2015 so I would like to do a little different kind of blog and it needs your comments as well. I was just wondering if God did anything for you in 2015. I'll start with what God did for me in 2015.
Lets see where do I begin? Well this may sound crazy but I was having Migraines and so God took them away from me, by getting the people I worked for 13 years to sale to another co. in Anchorage KY and they downsized and let me and several others go. That's right since I left that place I haven't had a migraine. Then God gave me another job which I really love. I never thought I would love dealing with the public like I do but I really love what I do. Someone at work yesterday was saying when I first started there I barely talked but now I really fit in. I told him before I started working there I didn't talk to people I didn't know very much, but God took me out of my comfort zone. Then after I started my new job Ernest co. decided to downsize and you got that right Ernest lost his job that he had worked @ for years. God gave him another job that he seems to enjoy and he gets to witness to the group of guys he works with. I could go on and on with what God has done for me but I'd like to see what God has done in your life in 2015. So please comment so others can see.
While God owes us nothing, He freely gives us the salvation He promises when we accept Christ. He then adds to His generosity by sending His Spirit to help us in this life as we prepare for the joy of eternity with Him. The seeming unfairness of life demands that we keep our eyes on Him and His Word—not on others.
While doing this blog I came across a couple comments that people said about what God has done for them:
**Each and every day God does something for you and gives you a blessing. Some days your blessings are huge and some days they may be small but just the rising of the sun each day is a new blessing. I could ramble on about all the many blessing God has done for me but 2 words can sum it up: Eternal Salvation.
**The fact that He wakes me up each day is a blessing to learn more about Him and to praise Him, to be victorious over sin, to experience His forgiveness and peace, His never ending love and kindness, knowing that He is my Father, the knowledge of His plan to restore all to Himself through Jesus, that He has blessed me with a loving family, the ability to provide for my needs, the opportunity to share with others, beautiful children to interact with and teach, so many things and opportunities. I am thankful each and every day. God bless.
**The Lord has blessed me in so many ways I cannot even begin to list them........He has sustained me and my family thru difficult times.....He has provided for all my needs and then some.......He has shown himself faithful to his promises in protecting me sustaining my health and loving me when I was still a sinner...... he has put HIS people in my life....He does not give up on me......he has been patient with me and helps me to grow in Faith.....The Lord is so good.....Thank you Father in Heaven so much, thank you Jesus,.......thank you Holy Spirit......Blessed be God always.....I Love you Lord.
So now let's flood facebook with what God has done for you in 2015.

Lord I come to You thanking You for waking me up everyday. I thank You for my family and friends. I thank You for the jobs You have given us. Lord please be with my facebook family and friends and know that I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.

Who is God to you?

12.30.15 Who is God to you? To me He is my all without Him I would be nothing.
Whether we realize it or not, we’re all looking for a way to feel connected with our root of happiness, our Source, God, Higher Power, etc.
We know that our Creator is the Source of our life force, wellbeing, joy and love. We may not be CONSCIOUSLY aware of this, but deep inside we know that we are never separate from God. We only think that we are separate because of our false sense of guilt, shame and unworthiness, out of which all sickness and dis-ease arises. To me, God is a steadfast rock. When I question and wander away, He is there waiting for me to find my way back. When I need a place to throw my anchor, He never moves. When I need something that stays the same in a world where everything is constantly changing, He has never moved. I could go on . . . .

So, who is God to me? He is my refuge, my safe place. In His faithfulness, He clung to me when my faith was too weak to hold on. When I’ve been weak, He’s carried me through. He is ever present, and seems to prove Himself over and over to me in ways that would likely seem insignificant to others. I am also starting to see Him as being much more than just the Creator of all, but also that he indwells all – the ocean, the wind, the mountains, the trees. I find myself letting go of the struggle to figure out God and try to change myself to fit my perception of who I think He wants me to be . . . and instead, just start noticing Him in the world around me.

So with that think about the statement: Who is God to me? Then right a comment to let people know who God is to you.

Lord Please be with my facebook family and friends and know that I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.

Don't let your joy be stolen

12.29.15 Have you ever felt a mountaintop experience and then all of a sudden your down in the valley. One minute God is everything to you and then the next minute something is taking that Joy away from you. It's sort of like the cartoon you see where there's the good and bad figures on each side of your shoulders and ones telling you to do something bad and the other 1 is saying no don't do that you know better.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Second Corinthians 4:8,9 says, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." A lot of people read it like this: "We are troubled, we are perplexed, we are persecuted, we are cast down—oh, woe is us."
The Apostle Paul says in one translation, I might get knocked down, but you're never going to knock me out! There's a difference in being knocked down and knocked out. I've been knocked down a few times, but it's the most natural thing in the world when you fall to GET UP!
Jesus said very clearly that Satan comes immediately to steal the Word. How? Through affliction, persecution, the cares of this world, the lust of other things, and the deceitfulness of riches. What is the devil trying to steal from us? THE WORD.
Why is it so important for the devil to steal the Word? God's Word produces JOY in our hearts. When we read the Word and realize that it's God's will for us to prosper and be in health, that produces JOY on the inside of us.
Nehemiah 8:10 says, The JOY of the Lord is your STRENGTH. Satan is after your joy. He especially likes to use the "little things" to steal our joy, such as: your car won't start, your hair isn't looking right, a husband and wife start fussing... The devil knows that if he can get your joy, even over something "little," he can steal your strength. If you have no strength, you can't resist the devil. If you can't resist the devil, he won't flee.
Jesus said very clearly that Satan comes immediately to steal the Word. How? Through affliction, persecution, the cares of this world, the lust of other things, and the deceitfulness of riches. What is the devil trying to steal from us? THE WORD.
Another thing that will steal your joy is negative people.
Be Better Not Bitter ~ When life gives you lemons, don't throw them back. Instead make lemonade. The difficulties of life are intended to make us better not bitter. Trade an i for an e.
Don’t Let:Negative, Small-Minded People Steal Your Joy!
No One Can Steal Your Joy – John 16:16-24
Lord thank You for watching over me thru the good and the bad. God I pray when I feel something or someone is trying to steal my joy I stay strong and keep my eyes focused on You. Lord please be with my facebook family and friends and know I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.

In His Hands

12.28.15 I found the following while looking in my junk drawer and I thought I'd share it with you...
In His Hands
The Hands of our Creator,
Lord and King of Heaven above,
are the Savior's Hands,
forever reaching out to us with love.

In His Hands
The Hands that made the world and gave the sun and moon their light
are the tiny Hands of a baby born one cold December night...
The Hands that stilled the wind and tamed the fury of the sea
are the calloused Hands of a carpenter who lived in poverty...
The Hands that held the power to break the binding chains of sin
are the gentle Hands that washed the feet of tired and dusty men...
The Hands that cleansed the leper, healed the blind and raised the dead
are the praying Hands of one who cried, "Not My will, but Thine instead...
The Hands that shaped the universe and flung the stars in space
are the nail-pierced Hands of a dying man who suffered in our place...
The Hands of our Creator, Lord and King of Heaven above,
are the Savior's Hands, forever reaching out to us with love.

IN THE SAVIOR'S HAND
Tracy Jones & Ricky Atkinson

Today I face a mountain, oh so high
And I do not know what’s waiting on the other side
But I know enough to know - He’ll see me through again
I’m glad to know, it’s in the Savior’s hand

There will be grace, grace to make it through this trial
There will be strength, strength to walk another mile
There will be hope when I’ve done all I can
I’m glad to know it’s in the Savior’s hand

Those hands have seen me through my darkest days
They have dried my tears and helped to guide me on my way
So I know He’ll safely see me through the fire again
I’m glad to know it’s in the Savior’s hands

There will be grace, grace to make it through this trial
There will be strength, strength to walk another mile
There will be hope when I’ve done all I can
I’m glad to know it’s in the Savior’s hand

Those hands that hold the universe
Will hold me now
And the hands that calm the stormy sea
Will calm my storm somehow

There will be grace, grace to make it through this trial
There will be strength, strength to walk another mile
There will be hope when I’ve done all I can
I’m glad to know it’s in the Savior’s hand

Remember God has you in His hands. If you have a problem take them and leave them in the Savior's Hands.
Lord I thank You for keeping me in Your Hands, without You I'd be nothing, with You I can do all things. I know You are with me every step of the way. Lord please be with my facebook family and friends and know I love You. I ask these things in Jesus Name Amen.
